Master 1 R&D project – Abrasive Tools 1

Each year, the students of the helha engineering school carry out research and development projects proposed by their teachers.

In the technical section of the Helha’s Youtube Channel, each student has the opportunity to promote his project by sharing it with the Helha’s community all over the world.

As a student in mechanical specialization, I was proposed a project related to the measurement of tribological characteristics of materials.

The prototype that I have created during this learning activity allows in fact to measure the friction coefficients thanks to an automated assembly equipped with position sensors as well as a sensor of inclination and a electric jack.

All these components used and programmed efficiently allow us to calculate easily the values of the requested coefficients.
