part 4 project step (SEVI project)

Hi,

My name is Maxime Yernaux, I’m in first master of industrial engineering. In our courses, we are asked to carry out a project as a team. With my project team, we are designing a wind turbine for the ceref building.

The first step is to decide on the type of wind turbine we are going to build. There are three types of vertical wind turbines: Darrieus, Savonius, and rotary wing. We decided on the Savonius type of wind turbine.

The second step is to determine the location of the turbine.

The third step was to collect wind measurements in order to dimension the wind turbine.

With the wind data, we can start the fourth step which is the dimensioning.

Then comes the modelling.

Then there is still the list of parts needed to assemble the wind turbine, the ordering of the parts, the assembly and finally the installation.
